I believe in the joy of music and I love sharing this gift with my students.
In addition to offering private one-on-one lessons, I am actively looking for ways to provide learning opportunities and access to instruments to students who may not be able to afford individual lessons or have access to an instrument. Through private donations and sponsorship through my Patreon page, I am currently looking for opportunities to share this gift with as many people as possible. I hope to provide one-on-one or remote lessons, instructional videos, tutorials, product reviews, song charts, interviews and more.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please have a look at my Patreon site and subscribe. Your support will give the gift of music to yourself and others every month.
I studied music theory and classical guitar with Frank Mullen at St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, FL. and began teaching music full-time in 1988 at Bringe School of Music.
I have been a performing musician since I was 16 years old. I play guitar, keyboards, bass, ukulele, and just love singing and writing songs. I’ve been featured on about 30 albums by The Sunset District, The Good Graces, Spiller, Parade in Paris, Lie and many more.
I am a sponge when it comes to new music and I encourage all my students to seek out new and wonderful sounds.
After 12 years as a full-time musician I returned to college to obtain my BA in Information Technology and after 20+ years in the field I am returning full-time to teaching and performing again with a technology forward approach to instruction with uniquely tailored lessons crafted for each student while taking advantage of remote learning, instructional videos and tutorials.
I’ve performed alongside bands as diverse as Patti Smith, The Indigo Girls, Superchunk, Marilyn Manson, Fishbone, Soundgarden, G. Love, and many more.
Cheers!
